Starting one

Channel names work as well as mentions. Leave the channel out entirely and the giveaway posts where you ran the command. Confine adds the 🎉 reaction automatically — that’s how members enter.
Winner count is capped at 5, and prizes at 256 characters.

Editing a running giveaway

Every edit takes the giveaway’s message link so confine knows which one you mean.

Details

Between 1 and 5.
Bots can’t be set as host.
Resets the end time to the duration you give, counted from now.

Appearance

Up to 4096 characters.
Attaching an image to your command message works too — confine picks it up automatically.
Images must be hosted on Discord’s CDN. Links from anywhere else are rejected.

Entry requirements

Members who don’t meet these are filtered out when winners are drawn, even if they reacted.
Separate several with commas.
Uses confine’s own leveling system, not another bot’s.
Requires members to have been in the server a minimum number of days.
Between 1 and 30 days.

Winner reward roles

Roles handed to whoever wins, applied automatically when the giveaway ends.
On a reroll, these come off the previous winners before going to the new ones.

Ending early

Draws winners immediately instead of waiting for the timer.

Rerolling

Drop the message link and confine rerolls your server’s most recent giveaway.
You can’t change the winner count during a reroll on an already-ended giveaway. Use ,giveaways edit winners first, then reroll.

Listing active giveaways

,giveaways list shows every running giveaway with its prize, entry count, and when it ends.
