How it works

You set up a channel nobody has any reason to post in, and confine posts a warning telling members not to. Anyone who posts there anyway gets punished automatically. The point is that compromised accounts and self-bots blast every channel they can see. A real member reads the warning and moves on; a hijacked account posts its scam link and gets caught immediately.
Every command here requires Manage Server.
Members with Manage Server or Administrator are exempt automatically — staff won’t trip the honeypot.

Setting it up

Confine posts the warning message as soon as you set it. Channel names work as well as mentions.
Put the honeypot somewhere visible near the top of your channel list. It only works if the accounts spamming your server can see it.
Confine needs View Channel, Send Messages, and Manage Messages there.

Re-posting the warning

If the message gets deleted or buried:

jail needs your moderation system set up first — run ,setup before choosing it.
Defaults to kick.

Recording a reason

This shows up in your audit log and moderation records. Up to 400 characters.

Shows the channel, punishment, reason, and whether staff are exempt.
